Guild Charter
- Preface
- This charter should be read and understood by all Guild members. If you have any questions or remarks do not hesitate to contact an Officer or the Guild Master.
- Mission Statement
- Iunctus in Victoria is a 'World of Warcraft' guild on the US-RP server 'Argent Dawn'. We are a friendly, non-vulgar PvE/Raiding guild dedicated to making a relaxing and enjoyable, yet ambitious playing atmosphere. We are well-geared and aiming for high-end raid content without being what many people would consider 'hardcore'.

- The following is a list of requirements for the Officers and Guild Master:
- Extensive experience with the Guild
- Extensive experience with your class
- Willingness and interest in helping others
- To be promoted to the rank of Officer you must be approved by fellow Officers and the Guild Master, the final decision being the Guild Master's
- Ranks
- Alt
The rank of Alt is assigned to anyone who already has a character in the guild. No Alts may be in the guild without a main in the guild. - Plebe
To attain Plebe status you must fill out an application and be approved for entry from officers and/or Guild Master. - Member
To attain Member status you must be a member of the guild for a period of approximately one month. You are likelier to get spots in raids and to receive items from the guild bank. You also will not be removed from the guild without sufficient effort to resolve whatever issue. - Veteran Member
To attain Veteran Member status you must be a member of the guild for an longer period and be active in the guild. As a Veteran Member, you will be given some trust with the items in the guild bank. You also will not be removed from the guild without sufficient effort to resolve whatever issue and are due respect. Officers make the decision to promote a Member to a Veteran Member. - Recruiter
Recruiters are appointed by the Guild Master with the approval. Their focus within the dynamics of the guild is to bring more member to our ranks. Other than guild invite privileges, they are fundamentally the same as a Veteran Member.
- Tribune
Tribunes are alts of Senators or previous Senators and are granted much trust and honor within the guild. - Senator

Senators are appointed by the Guild Master with the approval of the Senators. They are given rights with guild invitations and can be sought for conflict resolution within the guild. They also have guild remove privileges with consent of the Guild Master. - Raid Leader

Raid Leaders are appointed by the Guild Master from among the Officers. They make decisions on loot disagreements, raid schedules, and raid make-up. Raid Leaders are expected to know each encounter before they are faced. Anything a Raid Leader does must be held accountable to the Guild Master. - Guild Master

The rank of Guild Master contains all of the rights and privileges of a Class Lead. In addition, the Guild Master may veto any action put in place by officers. Guild Master is approachable for any issue a member might have. The Guild Master can be removed from office with a unanimous decision from the Officers. Messages sent through the 'Contact IIV' in regards to guild issues creates a notification to the Guild Master. Any message sent this way will be posted on officer forums unless specifically requested otherwise. - Note that while the Guild has no formal democratic structure, the Guild Masters and Officers will take the wishes of the members into account whenever possible.
- Recruitment
- We recommend that new members read the guild charter, but it is not required.
- We desire that all people interested in joining the guild sincerely enjoy spending time with IIV and aren't simply interested in personal gain.
- Guild Events
- Guild Events are in general listed under the 'Raid Schedule' including 10-man and 25-man raids, heroics, special events, and as well as others.
- Traditionally, IIV has a Halloween Party with a costume contest as well as a New Years celebration with plenty of fire works.
- Suggestions for events or questions regarding events may be posted or discussed with an officer.
- Unscheduled guild raids are encouraged to help out fellow guildies.

- Guild members are expected to treat each other with respect and in such a way as they would wish to be treated. This does not include treating someone the way you would barely tolerate being treated.
- Language should be indicative of the possibility of younger guild members or children of guild members potential exposure. We do not wish to be your police, simply be aware.

- Partying Raids and Instances
- Looting rules are outlined by the Raid Leader before the raid.
- We ask that all members be prepared for a raid, before invites go out.
- Raiders should be ready for invite when the raid is scheduled or expect to be replaced.
- When all possible, let us know if you won't we able to come even though you signed up.
- There is no required raiding in the guild but it is encouraged for morale and phat loots.
- Resources
- It is encouraged of guild members to post suggestions and links for classes that they have experience in to help those that need it.
- Unneeded drops from raids may be added to the guild bank to be used to the benefit of our members.
- Issues between members should be brought to an officer.
- There is a Contact IIV link specifically set up so that members can bring issues forward without reprisal, do not be afraid to use this tool.
